Deployment Strategies
With Access 2007 came a new set of tools to create distribution packages.
If your users do not have MS Access installed on their machines then they can easily download the free runtime version.
Installed directly from Microsoft's website, the runtime version allows you to run, but not modify the design of, your application.
You can freely download and install the Developer Extensions for Access 2007. This allows you to quickly create install packages for your applications.
So an Access application is now as easy to distribute as an application built with any other Development tool and it's faster to develop.
